Defender Edmilson Dove is returning to South Africa after he picked up an injury at the Kaizer Chiefs training camp during Friday’s session in Türkiye.
The Mozambican international has already been examined by the Amakhosi medical team in camp. He will leave Türkiye for a full assessment and medical attention in South Africa.
“We wish him and the rest of the injured fellows a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing them back on the training grounds and field of play soon,” a Chiefs statement said.
Chiefs are preparing for the new season as well as their Toyota Cup match against Tanzanian giants Young Africans. The match is scheduled for Saturday, 27 July at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
