German Third Division side Sandhausen defeated DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in a friendly match played at the Jenbach Stadium in Austria on Tuesday evening.
The Germans led 1-0 at the end of the first half through Tim Maciejewski’s 31st minute goal.
The Tshwane giants equalised through Tashreeq Matthews nine minutes into the second half before Dominic Baumann scored the German side’s winning goal in the 70th minute.
