Just two months after he lost to unbeaten Mexican boxer Rene Calixto Bibiano, Sikho “Sequence” Nqothole has decided to give Colin ‘Nomakanjani’ Nathan’s NO DOUBT Management duties of managing his affairs.

Before meeting Calixto, Mthatha-born Nqothole was positioned 10th in the International Boxing Federation (IBF) ratings. And he dropped one place to 11th after the defeat.

“We said it was very difficult to win in Mexico and we had another route for him. At the time, he was not signed to NO DOUBT Management, but Colin was part of that meeting, giving his opinion,” Boxing 5’s Larry Wainstein said.

Boxing 5 and Nqotole met and it was decided that Nathan would stop advising the Phumzile Matyhila-trained boxer. Instead, Nathan would sign Nqothole for NO DOUBT Management in partnership with former International Boxing Organisation (IBO) junior-featherweight champion Ludumo Lamati.

“Uncle Larry and Colin have promised to bring me back. Being ambitious, I would love to get a chance to redeem myself and get a world title shot,” Nqothole said.
