AmaZulu are through to the semi-finals of the KZN Premier’s Cup following a 2-1 win over their neighbours Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Prince Mangosuthu Stadium in Ulundi on Saturday afternoon.
Usuthu took the lead through Keenan Phillips’ own goal after he failed to clear Ramahlwe Mphahlele’s cross in the third minute.
Abafana Bes’thende pulled one back in the 22nd minute when Lungelo Nguse gave them hope of upstaging their opponents.
However, Tshepang Moremi had other ideas as his goal which he scored in referee’s added time steered Usuthu to the semi-finals of the tournament.
