Orlando Pirates advanced to the semi-finals of the MTN8 following a 3-1 win over SuperSport United at the Orlando Stadium in Orlando East, Soweto, on Saturday evening.
The Buccaneers took the lead when Oliseh Ndah scored with a cheeky backheel on the stroke of half-time from a Monnapule Saleng’s cross.
Five minutes into the second half, Vincent Pule equalised for Matsatsantsa a Pitori as he scored against his former teammmates.
Saleng restored the Buccaneers’ lead two minutes into extra time from a Kabelo Dlamini assist. And second half substitute Evidence Makgopa made it 3-1 in the 108th minute.
