South Africa won her second silver medal at the Paris Olympics in France after the men’s 4×100-metre team finished second behind Canada with Great Britain finishing third on Friday evening.
Team South Africa, which consisted of Akani Simbine, Bayanda Walaza, Bradley Nkoana and Phathutshedzo Maswanganyi, set a new South African and African record of 37.57.
Overall, Team South Africa have bagged five Olympic medals – one gold, two silver and two bronze.
