Having lost his last three fights, former national champion Sibusiso Zingange has been given yet another lifeline to redeem himself as he clashes against Marcus Lebogo next month.

Zingange, a former SA junior-lightweight titlist, will clash with one-time national junior-welterweight title contender Lebogo in an eight rounds bout at the Portuguese Hall in Turffontein, Johannesburg, on Sunday, 15 September.

Zingange has never been the same since he defeated and dethroned erstwhile SA junior-lightweight titlist Phila Mpontshane in February 2022.

After defeating Mpontshane, Zingange suffered losses to Lunga Sitemela, reigning SA junior-lightweight champion Asanda Gingqi and Gift Bholo. Interestingly, both Zingange and Lebogo are victims of former SA junior-welterweight titlist Prince Dlomo.

Meanwhile, Lucky Monyebane from the North West will fight against Gauteng’s Sifiso Hlungwane in an eight rounds junior-lightweight bout.
