Springboks captain Siya Kolisi has been released by French Top 14 club Racing 92 just less than a year after he joined them from the Sharks.
Kolisi’s departure from Racing 92 was confirmed by the franchise on Sunday evening – a day after the World Cup-winning captain led the Boks to Freedom Cup glory following their win over the All Blacks in Cape Town.
The 33-year-old Kolisi, who once played for Western Province and the Stormers, is believed to rejoining the Sharks in Durban.
