Tsholofelo Lejaka has made a spectacular return to Boxing South Africa (BSA) just over four years after he left the organisation in a huff.
Lejaka returned to BSA as the organisation’s acting chief executive officer and accounting authority after he was appointed by Minister of Sport Gayton McKenzie on Thursday. Lejaka was previously the regulator’s CEO until he jumped ship in August 2020.
After Lejaka’s departure, Cindy Nkomo, then BSA director of operations, acted as CEO until she left the organisation at the end of December 2021. Former BSA board member Nsikayezwe Erick Sithole took over on a caretaker basis in January 2022 and vacated the position in December last year.
Mandla Ntlanganiso, BSA director of operations, acted as CEO from December last year until last month.
