Sikho ‘Sequence’ Nqothole bounced back to winning ways as he defeated Namibian Jafet Amukwa at the Box Camp Booysens in Johannesburg on Friday evening. 

Mthatha-born Nqothole stopped Amukwa in the second round of an international junior-bantamweight bout. And this was Nqothole’s first win since losing to Mexican boxer Rene Calixto Bibiano in May this year.

Meanwhile, highly rated flyweight boxer Frank Samkelo Sotomela’s impressive run continued as he defeated Thamsanqa Cele by a first round knockout.
