Kaizer Chiefs won their second match of the season when they beat AmaZulu 3-1 in a Betway Premiership encounter at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Wednesday evening.
Amakhosi raced to a 3-0 lead inside the first 25 minutes of the match with Ranga Chivaviro giving them the lead in the 12th minute
Two minutes later, Gaston Sirino, formerly with Mamelodi Sundowns, doubled Amakhosi’s lead and Angolan Inacio Miguel made it 3-0 in the 23rd minute.
AmaZulu came back stronger after the break and Nigerian Etiosa Ighodaro pulled one back for Usuthu two minutes into the second half.
Meanwhile, Stellenbosch FC were too much for Cape Town City as they walloped them 3-0 in another Betway Premiership match played at the Athlone Stadium with goals from Andre de Jong, Fawaaz Basadien and Sanele Barns.
