Ronwen Williams is back in the Bafana Bafana squad after an injury forced him to miss the South African national team’s last two matches against Uganda at home and South Sudan away.
The Bafana skipper is in the 23-man squad, which was announced by coach Hugo Broos on Thursday ahead of two back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Red Devils of Congo.
Bafana face the Red Devils at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Friday next week and then clash against the selfsame Congo away four days later.
Meanwhile, Bafana go to camp this coming Saturday minus players from Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC.
The two sides play against each other in the final of the MTN8 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday evening.
