Japanese boxer Masamichi Yabuki dethroned South African boxer Sivenathi ‘Special One’ Nontshinga at the Aichi Sky Expo Convention Centre in Nagoya, Japan, on Saturday.

Yabuki scored his 16th stoppage win in 17 victories as he wrestled the International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-flyweight crown from Nontshinga in the ninth round.

The Japanese started by taking the fight to Nontshinga from the first gong and he kept on pushing as he scored with some nice blows.

Nontshinga was coming back and then got decked by Yabuki in the eighth round. Yabuki decked him twice in the ninth forcing the referee Mark Calo-oy to wave off the fight giving the Japanese his second world title.
