It seems as if unbeaten KwaZulu-Natal boxer Mxolisi ‘Nation’ Zuma can’t stop winning as he notched yet another victory after he defeated Albert Kimario Ongoro from Kenya at the Moth Hall in Dundee on Saturday evening.

Zuma stopped Kimario in the first round thus registering his ninth stoppage win in nine professional bouts. As a result of Saturday’s victory, Zuma became the new African Boxing Union (ABU) junior-featherweight champion.

Kimario, 23, dropped to 10 wins with five knockouts, three losses and a draw. All his three defeats were stoppages.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old Zuma from Empangeni is rated number one in the junior-featherweight division in South Africa and his handlers have lodged a challenge to national champion Siyabulela Hem’s title.
