A nine-man TS Galaxy advanced to the quarter-finals of the Carling Knockout following a 1-0 win over Chippa United at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Sunday.
Dzenan Zajmovic scored the Rockets’ all-important goal in the 103rd minute off a Victor Letsoalo cross from the right hand side.
This encounter went to extra time after the two sides had failed to score in regulation time.
Meanwhile, the Rockets finished the match with nine men after their forwards Zajmovic and Letsoalo were red carded.
