The winless Thwihli Thwahla fought back in the dying minutes of the match and their efforts were rewarded with Sbangani Zulu’s goal.
Meanwhile, Stellenbosch FC defeated Chippa United 2-0 in another Betway Premiership encounter played at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Wednesday evening.
The Cape Winelands side shot to the lead through Ashley Cupido’s goal in the 31st minute and Devin Titus doubled Stellies’ lead two minutes before the half-time break.
