Gqeberha-born Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams has been shortlisted for three awards at next month’s 2024 CAF Awards.
The 32-year-old Williams has been nominated in the Men’s Player of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year and InterClub Player of the Year categories.
Meanwhile, Bafana Bafana are competing with Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan for the Men’s Team of the Year gong.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in Marrakech, Moricco, on Monday, 16 December.
