Kaine Fourie remains unbeaten after he defeated Wasiru Mohammed from Ghana at the Box Camp Booysens, Johannesburg, on Saturday evening.
Fourie stopped the Ghanaian in the fourth round after he survived a scare as the West African had dominated in two earlier rounds. The previously unbeaten and dangerous Mohammed was definitely not a pushover and he proved that when he gave Fourie all sorts of troubles.
Fourie has since improved his record to nine wins with seven knockouts and two draws. On the other hand, Mohammed dropped to 13 victories with 12 stoppages and a loss.
Meanwhile, Ishmael Kadri registered a fifth round technical knockout victory over Lucky Hobyane in the main supporting bout.
