Royal AM held Kaizer Chiefs to a 2-2 draw in a Betway Premiership match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday evening.
Thwihli Thwahla came back from 2-0 down to steal a point from Amakhosi whose goals were scored by Ashley du Preez five minutes into the match and Wandile Duba in the 13th minute.
Thwihli Thwahla fought hard and their efforts were rewarded with a goal from Ayabulela Maxwele six minutes into the second half. And Levy Mashiane equalised right at the death.
Meanwhile, AmaZulu beat Richards Bay FC 3-1 in an earlier match played at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, Durban. Yanela Mbuthuma netted for the Natal Rich Boyz while Usuthu’s goals came from Rowan Human, Etiosa Ighodaro and Ethan Brooks.
