It was yet another loss as Banyana Banyana were whipped 3-0 by Jamaica in an international friendly match at the Catherine Hall Sports Complex in Montego Bay early on Saturday morning, South African time.
The floodgates opened when Birmingham City defender Siobhan Wilson gave the Reggae Girlz the lead after she beat Banyana goalkeeper Andile Dlamini in the 28th minute.
Khadija Shaw doubled the Reggae Girlz’s lead 10 minutes into the second half. The 27 years old Manchester City forward completed her brace eight minutes before the end of the match to make it 3-0.
The loss means that Banyana are going through a difficult period as they were beaten by Denmark and England in friendly matches last month.
