Following the withdrawal of Filipino boxer Eduardo Mancito after it became difficult for him to travel to South Africa because he secured a visa late, Last Born Boxing Promotions bosses have moved quickly and found an opponent for Azinga ‘Golden Boy’ Fuzile.
The former South African featherweight champion is now going to clash against 21-year-old southpaw Abdul Juma Kubira from Tanzania in the main bout at the Orient Theatre in East London this coming Sunday.
With a record of eight wins (two stoppages), two defeats and a draw, Kubira who resides in Malamba Mawali in Tanzania, last fought when he drew against Mubarack Denso Ramadhani at the Kemmon Hall in Dar-Es-Salaam in May this year.
Meanwhile, this is going to be the second time that the 28-year-old southpaw from Duncan Village in East London enters the ring this year. The former world title contender destroyed Namibian boxer Sebastianus Natanael with a sixth round stoppage at the Orient Theatre in August.
