It was a beautiful day one of the second Test for the Proteas as they played against Pakistan at Newlands in Cape Town on Friday with the South Africans knocking 316 for four at stumps.

At the close of play, Ryan Rickelton was on 176 and David Beddingham had knocked four runs. It was indeed a milestone for Rickelton as he knocked his second Test century reaching 100 after having faced135 balls as he hit 14 boundaries. 

Proteas captain Temba Bavuma knocked his fourth Test century and his second this summer and left the crease with 106 runs from 179 deliveries after he was caught by wicketkeeper Mohammed Rizwan from Salman Ali Agha’s bowling. Bavuma knocked nine boundaries amd two sixes.
