Cape Town City announced on Saturday morning that Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) international Nathan Idumba Fasika is back with them following the expiry of his loan stint at Norwegian side Vålerenga.
The 25-year-old Congolese defender made 17 appearances for Vålerenga in all competitions and helped them get promoted to the Eliteserien after they won the First Division title.
“Cape Town City is excited to welcome back DRC international Nathan Fasika after a stint in Europe,” a Citizens statement said on Saturday morning.
Fasika, who was born in Kinshasa in the DRC, first joined the Citizens in 2021 and went on loan in Norway last year.
