Pakistan opening batsman Shan Masood led his team’s fight back as he knocked 102 from 166 on day three of the second Test against the Proteas at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town on Sunday.
At stumps, the Pakistanis were 213 for one after 49 overs having been bowled out for 194 in their first innings. The Pakistanis trail the Proteas, who knocked 615 in their first innings, by 208 runs.
Masood, who hit 14 boundaries, will resume the Pakistani fight back together with Khurram Shahzad on day four on Monday morning. Shahzad is on eight after he faced 14 deliveries.
