Stellenbosch FC have advanced to the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup after they beat Stade Malien 2-0 at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Sunday afternoon.
Fawaaz Basadien, who’s one of the best left backs in South Africa, converted a penalty to give Stellies the lead in the 30th minute.
Nine minutes later, the side from the Cape Winelands increased their lead when Jayden Adams netted off Basadien’s corner.
