Cape Town City are back in winning ways as they came from behind to beat Richards Bay FC 2-1 in a Betway Premiership match at the Athlone Stadium on Friday evening.

Frenchman Amadou Soukouna scored twice for the Citizens to cancel the Natal Rich Boyz’s which was netted by Yanela Mbuthuma.

The Natal Rich Boyz took the lead through Mbuthuma in the eighth minute and Soukouna levelled matters four minutes before the half-time break. Soukouna completed his brace in the 59th minute.

The Citizens have won three out of four matches since Turkish-born German coach Muhsin Ertugral took over as their mentor following Eric Tinkler’s sacking this month.

Meanwhile, Polokwane City’s impressive run continued as they defeated SuperSport United 1-0 through Oswin Appollis’ 42nd minute goal at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville west of Pretoria.
