Stellenbosch FC confirmed the capturing of midfielder Thato Khiba whom they signed from TS Galaxy on Wednesday morning.
The 28-year-old Khiba spent the last three-and-a-half seasons playing for the Rockets and Marumo Gallants. He was in the Gallants team, which made it to the CAF Confederation Cup during the 2022/23 season.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Thato Khiba who has joined the club on a permanent transfer from TS Galaxy,” a Stellies statement said.
“He’s a player who fits our playing philosophy perfectly and brings versatility, quality and leadership to the team. We are confident he can make a significant impact in the second half of this season, and in the seasons to come.”
Khiba’s signing follows just a few days after the Cape Winelands side lost one of their key midfielders Jayden Adams to log-leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
