Kaizer Chiefs have finally secured the signature of their target Thabo Cele, who was announced as a new member of the Phefeni Glamour Boys on Monday afternoon.
The 28-year-old Cele has joined Amakhosi on a three-and-half-year contract with an option to extend his stay at Chiefs.
“It’s been a long time coming for Thabo, and we are both glad that he’s finally here,” Chiefs sporting director Kaizer Motaung Junior said.
The Naturena-based Amakhosi have also announced the capturing of Glody Lilepo and striker Tashreeq Morris.
Lilepo has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal, which also includes an option for a further season while Morris has concluded a 30 months deal after a swap deal, which saw striker Christian Saile joining SuperSport United.
