Log-leaders Mamelodi Sundowns announced the signing of Keanu Cupido from Cape Town City on Wednesday afternoon.
The former South African national Under-17 captain agreed to move from Cape Town to Chloorkop on the last day of the January transfer window on Tuesday.
“Bafana Bafana international defender Keanu Cupido has joined The Brazilians on a long-term deal,” a Sundowns statement said.
The 27-year-old Cupido played more than 100 matches for the Citizens since joining them in 2018.
Meanwhile, the Tshwane giants have loaned midfielder Lebo Maboe to SuperSport United until the end of the season.
