Sanele Magwaza only took two rounds to dispatch Mbulelo Gwabeni as he avenged last November’s loss at the Tambo Village Hall in KwaLanga, Kariega, on Saturday evening.
As a result of the second round stoppage win, Magwaza, a former World Boxing Federation (WBF) Africa bantamweight champion, annexed the Eastern Cape junior-featherweight title.
Meanwhile, Ayanda Gangqa from Gqeberha registered a third round technical knockout win over Duncan Village’s Asiphile Xhipholwana in the main supporting bout.
