He’s only been at his new job for a month, Cape Town City mentor Muhsin Ertugral walked away with the January Coach of the Month award.
Turkish-born Ertugral bagged the award after he led the Citizens to two wins over Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
The 65-year-old Ertugral won the gong ahead of Lehlohonolo Seema from Sekhukhune United and Polokwane City’s Phuti Mohafe.
On the other hand, Mamelodi Sundowns’ Lucas Ribeiro Costa won the Goal of the Month award following his strike against Magesi FC. Ribeiro beat Chiefs’ Mfundo Vilakazi and Devin Titus from Stellenbosch FC.
Meanwhile, Babina Noko striker Andy Boyeli picked up the Player of the Month award after he scored four goals in two matches against AmaZulu and SuperSport United.
