Following a goalless draw at the end of the first half, Tlakusani Mthethwa netted seven minutes into the second stanza. The Natal Rich Boyz increased their lead when Ntlonelo Bomelo scored their second goal in the 69th minute.
Meanwhile, TS Galaxy defeated Chippa United 1-0 through Bosnian-born Croatian Damir Šovšić’s goal at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
