Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos named a 37-member preliminary squad for two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday afternoon.
And the Belgian has included 30-year-old Qatar SC forward Percy Tau in his squad, which is going to be trimmed to 23 players before Bafana take on Lesotho and Benin later this month.
Bafana face Lesotho at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Friday, 21 March, and will then travel to Benin the next day.
Meanwhile, Bafana are going to report for camp in Johannesburg on Monday, 17 March and then travel to Polokwane on the same day.
