Patrice Motsepe was on Wednesday elected to serve a second term as president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) until 2029.
The 63-year-old Motsepe was re-elected unopposed at the 14th CAF extraordinary general assembly in Cairo, Egypt.
“Four more years for Dr Patrice Motsepe to continue with the progress agenda of African Football,” a CAF statement said.
Motsepe, formerly a Mamelodi Sundowns president, first ascended to the top CAF position in 2021 and the continental body has seen massive positive changes since then.
