The South African national Under-20s thrashed their Botswana counterparts 6-0 in an international friendly match at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Soweto campus on Saturday afternoon.
Jody Ah Shene and Mfundo Vilakazi scored a brace each with the other goals coming from Shakeel April and Langelihle Phili.
The two sides are going to meet again in another international friendly match on Tuesday next week.
Amajita are continuing with their preparations for the 2025 Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations finals. The tournament will be held in Ivory Coast from 26 April–18 May.
The top four nations at the AFCON finals will qualify for the 2025 FIFA Under-20 World Cup to be held in Chile from 27 September-19 October 2025.
