Mthokozisi ‘The Militant’ Ngxaka turned Thami ‘Bhubesi’ Luthuli into a pussycat as he stopped him in the fourth round at the Orient Theatre in East London on Sunday evening.
Luthuli from Nkandla in KwaZulu-Natal fell on his face following a vicious blow from the Mthatha lad. A big thud could be heard as Luthuli fell on the canvas.
Ngxaka, who was ushered into war by former SA flyweight champion Makazole Tete, dominated from the first gong on his way to annexing the title, which was vacated by his former stablemate Siyakholwa Kuse.
Meanwhile, Bongani Fule from Makhanda dominated Yamkela Phaliso as he successfully defended his Eastern Cape featherweight title with a unanimous decision victory.
