Mamelodi Sundowns have one foot in the CAF Champions League semi-finals after they defeated Tunisian side Esperance de Tunis 1-0 in a quarter-final first leg match at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Tuesday afternoon.
Namibian international Peter Shalulile scored for the Brazilians following an assist fom Jayden Adams in the 54th minute.
The 31-year-old Shalulile has now scored 128 goals – one goal from equalling Siyabonga Nomvethe’s 129 strikes.
