Kaizer Chiefs are going to play against Orlando Pirates in the final of the Nedbank Cup final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 10 May.
This followed after Amakhosi came from behind to defeat Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Sunday evening.
Teboho Mokoena gave the Brazilians the lead from a free kick in referee’s added time. Match referee Masixole Bambiso awarded Sundowns the free kick after Dillan Silomons’ foul on Marcelo Allende in the edge of the box.
And Wandile Duba equalised for Amakhosi in the 57th minute after he capitalised on Lucas Suarez’s defensive blunder.
With the clock ticking towards the end pf the match, Ashley du Preez netted Amakhosi’s second goal in the 89th minute following a Lehlogonolo Matlou cross from the right.
