The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has said that it’s deeply saddened by the passing away of former Kaizer Chiefs defender Simon ‘Bull’ Lehoko.
The late Lehoko first rose to prominence at Vaal Professionals before joining Chiefs in the then National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) in 1978. Lehoko enjoyed a distinguished and successful career at Amakhosi.
“The PSL extends its heartfelt condolences to the Lehoko family during this difficult time. A moment of silence will be observed in his honour at all Nedbank Cup, Motsepe Foundation Championship and DStv Diski Challenge fixtures this weekend,” the PSL said in a statement.
Lehoko, who passed away aged 75 on Thursday, won the 1994 BobSave Superbowl as coach of Vaal Professionals.
