A merciless Mamelodi Sundowns proved to be too strong for Richards Bay FC as they whipped them 3-0 in a Betway Premiership match at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Wednesday evening. 

It took the Brazilians only eight minutes to shoot to the lead through Arthur Sales’ goal. And Iqraam Rayners scored the Brazilans’ second goal in the 28th minute.

The Tshwane giants put matters beyond the Natal Rich Boyz’s reach when Marcelo Allende netted their third goal three minutes into second half. 

Meanwhile, Sekhukhune United dented Orlando Pirates’ title hopes when they defeated them 1-0 through Tresor Tshibwabwa’s goal at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto and Stellenbosch FC beat Chippa United 1-0 at the Danie Craven in the Cape Winelands.
