Asemahle ‘The Predator’ Wellem is going back to Tanzania next week, almost five months since his loss to Tanzanian Frank Shagembe Katwila in Dar-Es-Salaam.
After fighting against Tanzanians in his three visits to that country, Wellem will, this time around, face off against Tanzanian boxer Jacob Maganga in an eight rounds light-heavyweight bout at the Viwanja vya Posta in Dar-Es-Salaam on Saturday next week.
Chintsa-born Wellem, who is the reigning South African super-middleweight champion, is a regular feature in Tanzanian boxing tournaments as three of his last four fights were held in the East African country.
Based in Johannesburg, Wellem will carry a professional record of seven wins, with three stoppages, two losses and a draw to his fight against Rasheed.
On the other hand, the 26-year-old Rasheed from Lagos has nine victories with eight knockouts, a loss and a draw. Rasheed won four and drawn once in his last five fights.
