Mamelodi Sundowns’ participation in the final of the CAF Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup has resulted in the postponement of the 2024/25 Premier Soccer League (PSL) awards ceremony.
The PSL announced on Tuesday afternoon that the awards ceremony, which is normally held in June, will take place at a later date.
The Tshwane giants face Pyramids FC from Egypt in the first leg of the Champions League final at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Saturday and in Cairo a week later.
And the Brazilians will play in the Club World Cup tournament in the United States of America (USA) next month. They face Korean side Ulsan on Tuesday, 17 June, in Orlando and four days later, they come up against Borussia Dortmund from Germany in Miami.
The Brazilians will complete the group stages with a match against Fluminese FC from Brazil on Wednesday, 25th June.
