More than 10 new players were called to the 41-member Bafana Bafana preliminary squad by coach Hugo Broos on Thursday afternoon. 

Broos has called Darren Johnson, Renaldo Leaner, Mbekezeli Mbokazi, Puso Dithejane, Fezile Gcaba, Simphiwe Selepe, Gape Moralo, Kamogelo Sebelebele, Mduduzi Shabalala, Shandre Campbell and Mohau Nkota to the national team.

Bafana are scheduled to play against Tanzania in an international friendly match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Friday, 6 June. The team are going to be trimmed to 23 players and will report in camp on Sunday, 1 June, and travel to Polokwane on the same day.
