It was a poor start for Bafana Bafana to the 2025 COSAFA Cup tournament as they went down 1-0 to Mozambique at the Free State Stadium in Mangaung on Wednesday.
After the teams went to the half-time break scoreless, the Mozambican Mambas scored through António Sumbane in the 74th minute.
The Black Bulls player netted after he received a pass from Mambas captain Keyns Sully Amido Abdala to beat Bafana goalkeeper Tlakusani Mbanjwa.
