Qatar SC confirmed on Thursday evening that they had released South African international and former Mamelodi Sundowns forward Percy Tau.
The 31-year-old is Tau, who is from Emalahleni in Mpumalanga, had only been at Qatari SC for a short time having joined them from Egyptian giants Al Ahly earlier this year.
Tau is not the only player released by the Qatari club. Ben Malango, Ahmed Abdelkader, Badr Benoun and Javi Martinez have also been let go.
