Angola have successfully defended their COSAFA Cup trophy after they whipped Bafana Bafana 3-0 at the Free State Stadium in Mangaung on Sunday afternoon.
The Angolans led 1-0 at interval through a goal scored by Laurindo Dilson Maria Aurélio, who is popularly known as Depu, following an assist from Pedro Bondo Francisco two minutes before half-time.
Aurélio increased Angola’s lead with a goal in the 62nd minute after a pass from Ambrosini António Cabaça Salvador, who goes by the moniker Zini.
Nine minutes before full-time, Felício Mendes João Milson’s well-taken free kick made it 3-0 to make sure that the Angolans successfully defended their regional title.
