Banyana Banyana star striker Jermaine Seoposenwe has announced that she is retiring from international football.
The Cape Town-born Seoposenwe made the shock announcement on Monday evening.
“It has become more evident to me that this is the best decision for my well being,” Seoposenwe said.
The 31-year-old Seoposenwe will quit international football after the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament (WAFCON) tournament, which starts in Morocco next month.
Seoposenwe, who scored 24 goals in 106 Banyana matches since making he international debut in 2010, is currently playing for Mexican Liga MX Femenil side Monterrey.
