Veteran midfielder and former Mamelodi Sundowns star Andile Jali is among the players who were released by Chippa United on Monday afternoon.
The 35-year-old Jali, who was born in Matatiele, Eastern Cape, joined the Chilli Boys amid fanfare before the beginning of the past season.
Darren Johnson, Lukhanyo July, Justice Chabalala, Samkelo Jali, Baraka Majogoro, Athenkosi Dlala, Ronald Sanou, Craig Martin, Ronaldo Maarman, Thobani Jacobs, Sifiso Mazibuko, Aviwe Mqokozo, Enock Sakala and Bienvenu Eva Nga.
Meanwhile, Aphelele Teto, Siphelo Baloni and Sonwabo Khumalo have returned to their respective clubs. Teto is returning to Livingston FC while Baloni and Khumalo returned to Orlando Pirates.
