In an effort to make Kay B Promotions one of the premium promotional brands in South Africa, East London-based boxing promoter Mzi Booi has signed with interviewME (iME), a top live streaming service based in the United Kingdom.

Booi, who made his entry into boxing promotion in South Africa with his first tournament in March last year, has signed a three-year contract with iME, which has a huge market share in Europe.

“We had discussions with representatives from iME live streaming service a few days ago. This was a follow-up meeting after we signed a three-year contract last month. They are very big in Europe and this deal will help in the live streaming of our tournaments to many countries,” Booi said.

Kay B Promotions had its first tournament of the year last month following a month’s postponement. And Booi is busy preparing for his promotional outfit’s next show, which is scheduled for August.

Last month’s tournament was headlined by a South African featherweight title fight between former champion Zolisa Batyi and Lindelani Sibisi, who won the clash via a 10th round stoppage at the Orient Theatre in East London. – Monwabisi Jimlongo

  1. This is good for SA boxing & Kay B as a promotional company. We wish them all the best as this will also market our boxers in the international arena.
