Ime Okon joined two-time German Bundesliga champions Hannover 96 from SuperSport United on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old Bafana Bafana defender has signed a four-year contract with the German side.
“I’m delighted to be signing with Hannover 96. I’m very excited about this challenge of playing in Germany,” Okon said.
“I’m really looking forward to joining the club and want to become a better player and mature as a person. I would describe myself as a fast, robust defender. I’ll try to contribute these strengths from now on and help the team.”
